← All recordingsFinal Protective Fire
The second long-player and the last record. Heavier and slower than Sand Table, and quieter in places. The title is the barrier of fire a crew plans ahead of time and fires last. Two titles were withheld before release. The label printed the black bars on the sleeve rather than reprint the sleeve.
Session. Recorded in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Mixed in a location the label has declined to name.
